Welcome to Art Messer's Website
Messer is a fine art painter currently living and painting in Seattle. He travels extensively through southern France and adds its color and life to all of his works.
"A Fauvist in Paris"
Fauvist or wild-beast was the establishment’s label for artists like Matisse, Dufy and Cézanne and their bold use of color as expression in the early 1900's. During a recent trip to Paris, Messer found the movement still alive and well in the city's museums and contemporary art galleries. Messer's new works are influenced by these past Fauvist masters.

Collecting Fine Art
In addition to his fine art oils and watercolors, many of the Messer's existing works are available as limited edition museum quality Giclée prints from the Gallery. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.
